Gold!

We are proud to announce that we have achieved Gold in the School Games Mark for 2018-19. This is for our commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport.

 

High Peak Sports Partnership (based at Buxton Community School) run lots of sports competitions, events and festivals during the year, which we are able to attend with the help of the Sports Premium Fund which we receive from the Government.

 

During 2018-19, Peak Dale took part in 19 competitions/festivals including archery, cricket, quadkids, cheerfest, football, tennis etc. The year 5 children were Sports Leaders which involved them organising and leading games at lunchtimes for all the children in the school. In addition to this, our school Sports Crew held lots of football activities with teams and 1:1 training, using the free premium football kit which we received from Premier League Football.
